IPv6 was introduce in 1995. It uses 128bits. It made up of 8 blocks of numbers. Each block written in 4hex digit. As IPv6 uses 128bits, it won’t run out of unique IP address and can generate about 3.4 x 1038 possible addresses. IPv6 is providing better quality and connectivity.
